Editors' rating
The good: The Monster Turbine Pro In-Ear Speakers are exceptionally stylish and well-made, and they offer a massive amount of bass without sacrificing on high-end clarity. Passive sound isolation is excellent.

The bad: The Turbine Pro In-Ear Speakers are pricey, and they don't include an integrated mic or controls for the iPod.

The bottom line:The Monster Turbine Pro earphones offer a sleek and stylish design and plenty of deep, thumping bass. If you have money to burn, these are a nice choice.

Excellent headphones!, November 21, 2010

So I was looking to get a new pair of headphones, something decent for around $100. I came across these and their high price, wondering if I could get a better deal I shopped Ebay. I bought a pair for $118 brand new and afterwards did more research and to my dismay these are knocked off and sold on Ebay. I thought that for that price I bought a pair of fakes. Looking online there are comparissons with photos, fakes versus real. So mine came and to my absolute surprise they were 100% genuine Monster. Super Tips printed on sealed tip bags, fancy 1/4" adapter etc.

These are awesome headphones. How could they not be with a $400 price tag? I use them with my iPad and iPhone 4. I let them burn in for a day so far with the volume at 75%. They sound phenomenal. The music has clarity and depth. You tend to hear more detail with more depth and detail to all of the instruments in whatever type of music you listen to. Very clear and zero distortion.

The packaging comes with a ton of tips, cool cases etc. The tips are nice but after testing them all out, the simple plain stock medium rubber ones form a great seal and stay put perfectly for me. The gel/foam etc are cool but not necessary for me. The cases are very nice and since I have another set of cheaper headphones they will be stored in one of these awesome cases, since there are two. The packaging is top notch and the cans are have a solid/good quality feel to them. Would I have bought them for $400? NO! But at $118 all day everyday! I plan to keep these FOREVER and will take great care of them!

If you can get a deal on them, make sure they are genuine Monster, look online you can find comparisson pics and descriptons, for $150 or less there are awesome and super hard to beat!

Amazing pair of headphones, February 9, 2010

I just got the coppers a few days ago and love them. The packaging was very nice with a great selection of ear pieces. The foam fit me the best. I have not tried any of the other turbines but these sound amazing. This is my first pair of high quality IEM headphones and they just change the way all music sounds. I have listened to everything from classical, Latin guitar, rock to rap. Great bass, highs and lows. Crisp clean sound. I only have probably 4 hours of break in time but as I've read in other reviews they might get even better with time.
